1. Purpose

CQC Elite: Close Quarter Combat Mastery is committed to ensuring a safe and controlled training environment for all participants, instructors, and staff. The purpose of this policy is to outline the health and safety measures required to prevent injuries and ensure participant well-being.


2. General Safety Guidelines

โœ… Pre-Training Health Check – Participants must confirm they are in good physical condition to participate. If you have pre-existing medical conditions (such as heart conditions, high blood pressure, or joint issues), consult your doctor before attending.

โœ… Medical Emergency Procedures – A designated first aid officer and emergency medical plan will be in place at the event venue.

โœ… Hydration & Rest – Participants should stay hydrated and take breaks when needed. Water stations will be provided.

โœ… Injury Prevention – All training will be supervised, and instructors will provide modifications if a participant experiences discomfort or pain.

โœ… Equipment & Venue Safety – Training mats, gear, and facilities will be inspected regularly to ensure they meet safety standards.

โœ… No Unauthorized Techniques – Participants must only practice techniques taught during the event. Unsafe or reckless behavior will result in removal.

โœ… COVID-19 & Health Precautions – If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of any contagious illness, please refrain from attending.


3. Participant Responsibilities

๐Ÿšจ Reporting Health Concerns: If you feel unwell or experience an injury, notify an instructor or event staff immediately.

๐Ÿšจ Use of Protective Gear: When required, participants must wear protective equipment such as gloves and padding to reduce injury risks.

๐Ÿšจ No Alcohol or Drugs: The use of alcohol or performance-enhancing drugs before or during training is strictly prohibited.


Insurance Disclaimer

1. No Event-Provided Insurance

  • CQC Elite: Close Quarter Combat Mastery does not provide personal accident, medical, or health insurance coverage for participants.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate personal insurance coverage (such as health or accident insurance) if desired.

2. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
By registering and attending this event, you:

  • Acknowledge that combat training is inherently risky and involves physical exertion, potential contact, and injury risks.
  • Agree that CQC Elite, its instructors, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that may occur before, during, or after the event.
  • Release and hold harmless the event organizers from any claims related to injuries, accidents, or property damage.

3. Emergency Medical Treatment

  • In case of an emergency, event staff may provide basic first aid or call for medical assistance.
  • Participants are responsible for any medical expenses incurred during or after the event.
